To challenge that imbalance, he founded Markskog Studios. While the studio is currently focused on crafting unique short films, the long-term vision reaches far beyond production. The goal is to build a collaborative platform where independent filmmakers, actors, writers and small studios can connect, share resources and create art together - free from industry gatekeepers.

Our mission is to give independent creators the visibility, tools and community they need to bring great, meaningful stories to a wider, more global audience. A key part of this mission is our focus on marketing and distribution, ensuring the right films reach the right viewers so powerful stories aren’t lost in the noise but find the audiences they were made for.

We believe in strength in numbers. When artists support one another, the so-called “small players” gain the power to have their voices heard, their stories valued and their work stand alongside that of the major studios - all while creating true cinema rooted in artistic expression and deep meaning rather than templated productions designed primarily for financial return.
